Unframed relief print of my original work, “Three of Swords” depicting a reimagining of the tarot card with sewing needles standing in for the swords and the gentle reminder that “you’ve got to do your mending”. All prints come titled and signed.
These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with a rich black or dark red oil-based ink onto 4"x6” natural lokta with a traditional torn edge. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!
Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.
I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints so I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
