Starshine Linocut Print 4x6
Unframed relief print of my original work, “starshine” depicting a little star smiling down at you from the heavens. All prints come signed.
These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with deep blue oil based ink onto 4”x6” ultra lightweight natural lokta paper with a traditional torn edge. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!
Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks by hand, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.
I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints. I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
