Come On Home Linocut Print 4”x6”
$15.00
Unframed relief print of my original work, "Come On Home”. All prints come signed.
These prints were hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with rich rusty-red oil based ink onto 6”x4" natural lokta paper with a traditional torn edge. Lokta paper is a delicate looking (yet surprisingly strong!) handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found at high elevations in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. The shrubs regrow this bark, making Lokta paper a sustainable resource!
Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks by hand, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.
I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints. I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.
